How to know you’re not getting screwed by your spray foam contractor.

Once you sign the contract, your foam roof salesperson should have educated you fairly well regarding the process. If you feel like you’re being “pushed” into something you’re not quite sure about, you’re probably not ready to sign. Actually, this would be the first sign that you’re about to get screwed.

Here are a few questions to ask that will help you, not only find the right spray foam roof contractor, but help you to know when they’ve finished if they did what they said they would do.

What is the thickness of the foam when they finished the job?
How would you know if it’s the thickness that was specified on your contract.
What is the thickness of the coating when they finished the job?
Is it the thickness stated on the contract?
What material manufacturer is your contractor saying he/she is using?
Is it the same manufacturer product when they bring materials to do your job?
Did your contractor specify when they pulled a permit for your job, the product manufacturer?
Did the foam materials and the coating materials come from the same manufacturer?
